Each year thousands of Americans, mostly children, go without the basic essentials to sustain them at home, work and school.  This is not just a national problem.  Charlotte has its share of people who are in need of these basic necessities.

2nd Helping is a volunteer-based organization in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Our mission is to collect gently used clothing and other items to donate to local charities and children and adults in need.  We work to support local and national charities by working to locate donations and facilitating the transport of those items into the hands of the people who need them most.

We are hopeful you will assist us in our goal.  If you would like to make a donation, please fill out the form available on our website.  You are also welcome to call or text us.  We will be glad to come to you to pick up items that you no longer have a need for, but would benefit someone else and their families.
