Deliveries To and Fro
We not only made a delivery today, but also received a delivery today. This morning's delivery was a collection of men's dress clothes which will help many adult men in the Charlotte area as they pursue a new job or work in their current one. Thanks and Current Need
Thanks to Kim and Roxy for their donations of furniture this weekend. We are currently looking for a good home or organization who could use the items. We also received a small donation of towels and few blankets to be donated to the Great Dane Rescue of the Carolinas for their rescue animals. Pick Ups for a Picking Up Business
This week was a positive week with 2 pick ups- one from Preston, a former student, and one from a couple, Doug and Jenni, I have worked with for a few years. It feels so good to pick up things and start to think about where those items can possibly go to help others. 1st Official Deliveries
Elizabeth, Amelia, and I made our first official deliveries this morning. We visited the home of a working mother and left her a bag of clothing, and then went by Goodwill Industries for a delivery of women's clothing and home linens.
